Lawyers of the State Legal Bureau of Tatarstan helped the pensioner to return the mistakenly transferred money
An elderly woman, a disabled person of the 2nd group, applied to the State Legal Bureau of Tatarstan for free legal assistance on the issue of refunding a payment that was credited to the wrong personal account due to the fault of the bank.
The woman explained that since July 2023, as a member of the garden association, in order to pay membership fees for 2023, she made a payment of 6,000 rubles to the settlement account of the partnership through a mobile application.
Meanwhile, the funds were credited not to the account of the garden association, but to the account of a branch of one of the banks in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.
In the period from November 2023 to January 2024, the applicant repeatedly made attempts to return the funds, contacted the head office of the bank by telephone hotline, but no positive decision was made.
«We have studied the documents and prepared an application addressed to the head of the bank, according to the results of which the funds were returned to the applicant's account», - said Marat Sharafutdinov, chief specialist of the State Legal Bureau.
