New legislation
On February 26, 2024, the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan was adopted № 5-ZRT «On Amendments to Article 21 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan «On Urban Development in the Republic of Tatarstan» and Article 101 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan «On Ensuring the Protection of Housing Rights of Citizens»».
The powers of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of urban planning include the definition of an operator for integrated development of the territory, as well as the establishment of the procedure for such an operator to conclude an agreement with authorized federal executive authorities, executive authorities of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, and local self-government bodies in order to implement a decision on integrated development of the territory.
It is possible to transfer to the ownership of a legal entity implementing a decision on the integrated development of the territory, premises in apartment buildings included in the boundaries of such a territory, in case of a decision on the integrated development of residential development.
