International Conference of Youth Councils
This week, an international online conference of youth councils was held on the topic «The role of youth councils and the popularization of the trade union movement. International practice».
The event brought together representatives of youth councils of trade unions of state institutions of Russia and youth councils of other countries, including Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The conference was attended by Deputy Chairman of the primary trade union organization of the Ministry of Justice, member of the Youth Council of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of employees of state institutions Raliya Garifullina.
The participants discussed various ways to involve young people in the trade union movement, including the use of modern technologies and social networks.
«Youth is the most relevant topic for the Trade Union. We need new ideas. The most important task now is to attract young personnel to the ranks of Trade Unions, their motivation, and interest in work», - Raliya Garifullina shared.
