Trade union youth honored the memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War

22 June 2024, Saturday

Young trade union activists of Tatarstan laid flowers at the Eternal Flame of the Kazan Victory Park Memorial Complex.

The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the primary trade union organization of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Raliya Garifullina.

June 22 is the Day of Remembrance and Mourning – the day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. On this day in 1941, one of the bloodiest wars in its history began: Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union.

The war lasted 1,418 days and claimed millions of lives. On June 22, it is customary to remember the events of those years and lay flowers at the monuments of fallen heroes.
