Today in Kazan (Volga) Federal University opened an international round table on "free legal assistance: legal clinics and members of governmental and non-governmental legal aid system".
Participants of the Forum as one of the organizers welcomed the Minister of Justice of the Republic М. М. Kurmanov.
The round table brought together many qualified specialists in jurisprudence of various ministries, departments, institutions, Tatarstan and Moscow, other subjects of the Russian Federation. International status it has given it in the form of a teleconference, "Russia-Turkey-United States of America" reputable legal scholars from a number of foreign universities and legal institutions.
The programme of the Forum included plenary sessions on the topic "Guarantees the right of citizens of the Russian Federation to receive free quality legal assistance in the legislation of the Russian Federation", "free legal aid: foreign experience", "on the future development of legal clinics in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, and master-class «consulting in legal clinic.
The round table discussed topical problems of effective legal education, the exchange of experience have identified the most appropriate forms and methods for the provision of free legal aid. A lot of interesting and useful things learnt for themselves and attending as participants in the Forum of post-graduate students and students of the Faculty of law
