More than 61,000 participants – the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan summed up the results of the All-Russian Week of Legal Assistance on the Protection of Family Interests in the Republic of Tatarstan
During the All-Russian Week of Legal Assistance for the Protection of Family Interests in the Republic of Tatarstan, legal assistance in various formats was provided at many venues, more than 1,700 events were held, including seminars, round tables, trainings and consultations on legal issues. The coverage amounted to more than 61 thousand people. This was announced today at a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin.
The All-Russian Week of Legal Assistance for the Protection of Family Interests was held for the first time. It was timed to coincide with the Year of the Family in Russia. Events within the framework of the Week were held throughout Tatarstan from July 8 to 14, 2024.
In addition to educational events, events were also organized to provide legal assistance, in which representatives of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, notaries and lawyers took an active part. More than 5,000 residents of the republic received consultations on legal issues as part of these events. The specialists answered over 7,500 questions. More than 1,000 legal documents were drawn up, such as statements of claim, objections to the courts, and applications to regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
Mostly, large families, parents of disabled children, and guardians sought legal assistance. In addition, about two hundred participants in the special military operation and their relatives sought free legal assistance. Most often, Tatarstan residents were interested in issues related to labor and housing legislation, as well as social security.
According to the minister, Legal Assistance Week has become an effective support for families facing legal difficulties. «Issues related to the rights of parents and children, reliance on family traditions require special attention. Proper legal support helps prevent conflicts and guarantees the protection of the interests of all parties», - the minister concluded.
All events to provide free legal assistance are organized within the framework of the state program «Development of Justice in the Republic of Tatarstan».
