Rustam Minnikhanov: 2025 declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland
Today, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov delivered a Message to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Message was delivered during the second meeting of the State Council of the Republic of the 7th convocation, which was held in the State Grand Concert Hall named after Salikh Saidashev.
One of the most important statements of the Message concerned support for military personnel and their families. The special military operation affected the activities of the state, and today all state and municipal authorities of the Republic are focused on providing maximum assistance to participants in the special military operation and their family members.
Earlier, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Zagidullin noted that effective interdepartmental interaction of all entities providing free legal assistance has been established in Tatarstan.
One of the key tasks of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, created by the decision of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, remains legal support for our soldiers and their family members. Since the creation of the State Legal Bureau, free legal assistance has been provided to more than 900 participants in the special military operation and their family members.
In addition, an agreement was concluded between the State Legal Bureau and the branch of the «Defenders of the Fatherland» foundation, according to which the Bureau's employees hold a weekly reception on Thursdays at the Foundation's area. As part of this work, about 250 citizens were received.
During his speech, the Rais of the Republic declared 2025 the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
