The Tatarstan Ministry of Justice team reached the quarterfinals of the Spartakiad of civil servants in football
A football tournament was held at the Trudovye Rezervy Sports and Recreation Complex and the Miras Sports Complex as part of the Spartakiad of Civil Servants of the Republic. The competitions play an important role in strengthening the health and physical activity of civil servants, which corresponds to the goals and objectives of the federal project «Sport is the Norm of Life» of the national project «Demography».
20 teams, which were divided into eight groups, competed for victory. Based on the results of the group stage, the two strongest teams from each group advanced to the playoffs.
The team of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan showed an excellent game and successfully overcame the group stage, winning a confident victory over the team of the Judicial Department with a score of 5:0. Our athletes demonstrated excellent team play, tactical preparedness and physical endurance. All the players worked as a single unit, and this allowed them to win several more convincing victories over the teams of the State Tariff Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan with a score of 6:1 and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan with a score of 3:1.
However, in the quarterfinals, our guys lost to the Supreme Court team, which took 3rd place in the tournament.
Despite the defeat, the Ministry of Justice team demonstrated a high level of training and real team spirit. They showed the will to win and showed their best qualities on the football field.
