The State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, based on the «Defenders of the Fatherland» foundation, provided free legal assistance to more than 200 military personnel and their families in 2024
The State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan actively continues to provide free legal assistance to participants in a special military operation and their family members. Every week, on Thursdays, Deputy Head of the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Giniatullov holds citizen receptions at the republican branch of the Fatherland Defenders Foundation.
Consultations are held both in person and using audio communication, which ensures that assistance is available to everyone. Most often, citizens contact us on issues related to demobilization, inheritance, recognition of an heir as unworthy, protection of consumer rights, as well as receiving lump-sum payments and benefits.
As part of providing free legal assistance, the State Legal Bureau helps in drafting legal documents, and also informs military personnel and their families about available benefits and compensation payments. Over 200 soldiers and their families have already received such assistance in the first 10 months of 2024.
Free legal assistance is provided in accordance with the republican law «On the provision of free legal assistance to citizens in the Republic of Tatarstan» and the state program «Development of justice in the Republic of Tatarstan».
