Working meeting to exchange experience in the field of free legal assistance
A working meeting dedicated to the exchange of experience in implementing state policy in the field of providing citizens with free legal assistance was held via videoconference under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Justice. The discussion focused on issues of legal information, legal education of the population and the development of a non-governmental system of free legal assistance.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Legal Department of the Administration of the Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region, as well as the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region and the State Budgetary Institution of the Arkhangelsk Region «State Legal Bureau».
The participants of the meeting shared with each other effective tools and approaches aimed at improving citizens' access to free legal assistance. They discussed successful practices that can be applied to improve the quality of legal services to the population, as well as ways to expand awareness of available legal services.
This meeting was an important step in strengthening interaction between the regions and in the further development of the free legal assistance system in Russia.
