Tatarstan is implementing the state program «Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Tatarstan», approved by the Government of the Republic in 2014. It is one of the key documents regulating the prevention of corruption offenses in the region.
One of the main tools to prevent corruption is the anti-corruption examination of draft regulatory legal acts, which is carried out by the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan. This process allows for the early identification and elimination of corruption factors at the stage of development and adoption of regulatory acts. This is especially important for ensuring the transparency and legality of decisions made.
In addition, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan also carries out anti-corruption examination of municipal acts, which allows for monitoring and minimizing the risks of corruption at the local level.
Over the first 9 months of 2024, 1,802 projects underwent republican examination, in which 12 corruption factors were identified. In 2023 and for 9 months of the current year, more than 43 thousand municipal acts were examined. Corruption factors were identified in 655 acts.
