December 5 is Volunteer Day in Russia - a holiday for caring people
Today, Tatarstan, as well as all over Russia, celebrates International Volunteer Day. This day is a holiday for everyone who selflessly works for the benefit of society, whether it is supporting the elderly, helping those in need, or participating in environmental campaigns.
In the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, such a person is the leading consultant of the department for registration of regulatory legal acts and legal support, Maxim Andreev. Having successfully completed training in the «Rescuer nearby» association, Maxim became an active participant in volunteer events.
Members of this association regularly organize trips and shifts, during which they provide assistance to those who have found themselves in difficult situations. Maxim Andreev does not remain indifferent to the problems of others and, sharing his impressions, says: «I came across information about the «Rescuer nearby» association completely by accident, and it greatly changed my view on the need to help others. It is important for me not to remain indifferent to people's problems».
These words emphasize the essence of volunteering: it is important to show care and support to those who need it.
