On December 12, 2024, a number of laws of the Republic of Tatarstan were adopted, adjusting the republican legislation on municipal service.
Law of the Republic of Tatarstan № 89-ZRT «On Amending Article 42 of the Code of the Republic of Tatarstan on Municipal Service» extended the period during which qualification requirements for the level of professional education for filling the senior and (or) junior group of municipal service positions (with secondary general education) may not be presented until January 1, 2028.
Law of the Republic of Tatarstan № 91-ZRT «On Amending Article 19 of the Code of the Republic of Tatarstan on Municipal Service» provides that when entering municipal service, a citizen, in addition to a document on education, must also provide
a document on qualifications.
Law of the Republic of Tatarstan № 92-ZRT «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Tatarstan» clarifies that when submitting an application for the appointment of a pension for length of service, a certificate of the amount of monthly salary and allowances to the official salary is no longer required.
The laws of the Republic of Tatarstan come into force on 12 (№ 92-ZRT) and 23
(№ 89-ZRT, № 91-ZRT) December 2024.
