Ilya Gomzik: «Free legal assistance has become one of the first and most sought-after measures since the start of the SMO»
An extended meeting of the Supreme council of the Republican public movement «Tatarstan - new century» - «Tatarstan - yana gasyr» was held in the House of friendship of peoples of Tatarstan, where issues of support for SMO participants and their family members were discussed.
«In connection with the special military operation, the vector of work in many areas of public administration has changed», - emphasized First Deputy Minister of Justice Ilya Gomzik, speaking with a report, - including in rulemaking and free legal assistance».
As part of maintaining the municipal register, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan keeps records of municipal acts on establishing support measures for special military operation participants and their family members. The Ministry provides legal assistance in developing, amending, and bringing acts in this area into line with the legislation.
According to Ilya Aleksandrovich, free legal assistance has become one of the first and most sought-after measures since the start of the SMO. «In total, over the course of the past year, legal assistance was provided to 286 participants of the SMO and their family members, and over the 10 months of the current year – 578», - he said.
