Issues of providing free legal assistance were discussed at a meeting of the Committee on law and order

A joint meeting of the Committee on law and order and the expert council under the committee was held in the State Council, where the deputies discussed issues of providing free legal assistance to residents of the republic.

Information on the activities of the State legal bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan was presented at the committee meeting by the head of the institution, Mars Fatkullin. According to him, the State legal bureau does a lot of work to provide legal assistance to the population.

Over 2.2 thousand citizens applied to the State legal bureau for free legal assistance and legal consultations in the first 11 months of this year. Inlegal bureau particular, 44 applications were considered within the framework of an agreement with the joint-stock company «Social card», 12 citizens were accepted under an agreement with the Multifunctional center for the provision of state and municipal services in the Republic of Tatarstan via videoconference.

Particular attention in the work of the State legal bureau is paid to legal assistance to participants in a special military operation and their family members.

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement with the Fatherland Defenders Foundation, 35 citizen receptions were held in January-November 2024, during which 240 citizens applied. In cooperation with the Ministry of labor, employment and social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, 72 citizens were received via videoconference, 69 citizens were received on the basis of an agreement with the Office of the Human rights commissioner in the Republic of Tatarstan, 287 citizens - at receptions jointly with the Bar association of the Republic.

Citizen receptions were also held at the House of Friendship of peoples of Tatarstan, the Kazan military hospital, the Family house in Kazan of the Family together charitable foundation, the public reception office of the United Russia party, the Good Kazan ANO, the Children's hospice non-profit private medical institution, and others.
