The Public council under the Ministry of Justice will complete its work in 2024
The fourth and final meeting of the Public council under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan this year was held under the chairmanship of Anas Gataullin, where the results of the year's work were summed up and current tasks for the next year were outlined.
The meeting discussed the results of the inspection of the implementation of the activities of the state republican program «Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan» in the Department for supervision of the technical condition of self-propelled machines and other types of equipment of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Sergey Brodsky, responsible for work on the prevention of corruption and other offenses in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the implementation of the program «Implementation of the anti-corruption policy of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan» for 9 months of 2024. He reported that an anonymous sociological survey «Public opinion poll on the state of corruption in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan» is conducted annually on the official website of the Ministry. «In 2024, about 7,000 people took part in the survey» -, said Sergei Ivanovich.
In addition, an analysis of information on compliance by civil servants with prohibitions, restrictions and requirements for the purpose of combating corruption was conducted in relation to 100% of employees of the Ministry of Justice and the offices of justices of the peace.
The head of the department for supporting the activities of justices of the peace, Lenar Gainiev, presented a report on the implementation of monitoring of procurement of goods (works, services) for the needs of the Ministry and the quality of public services provided by the Ministry.
Following the meeting of the Public council, key tasks for the coming year were identified. Among the new initiatives, an exchange of experience of the Public сouncil with similar structures under other executive authorities is envisaged. The main focus will be on issues of mutual interest and practical benefit.
