Tatarstan Ministry of Justice employee Aidar Shakirov entered the top ten in the men's race at the Jubilee «Izhevsk rifle»
The winter start of the biathlon race «Izhevsk rifle», organized by the company «Kalashnikov. Sport», has ended in Izhevsk. The race is dedicated to the Anniversary 55th Izhevsk rifle. Athletes from all over the country, including representatives of various government agencies, took part in the competition. Among them was an employee of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aidar Shakirov.
In this competition, Aidar Rafkatovich showed excellent results, having overcome a 6-kilometer track with two firing lines. Shooting took place from Izhevsk pneumatic rifles BI-7-5. The competition required high accuracy: for each missed target, the participants passed a penalty loop of 100 meters, while the size of the targets from the «lying» position was only 30 millimeters, and from the «standing» position - 50 millimeters.
As a result, Aidar Shakirov demonstrated excellent shooting skills and stability on the track, finishing seventh out of thirty participants in the individual standings in the 55+ category.
«It was a real test! - Aidar Rafkatovich shared his impressions. Races always require maximum concentration and endurance, but it is precisely such competitions that help us become better and stronger. I am glad that I was able to show a decent result and enter the top 10».
