The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan actively and closely cooperates with local governments, providing them with the necessary legal assistance. This cooperation covers a wide range of issues, including rule-making, the implementation of transferred state powers, monitoring of non-property claims and much more.
Speaking at a meeting of the reporting board of the Ministry, Rustem Zagidullin noted that regulatory legal acts adopted by local governments should be included in the municipal register. In 2024, the Ministry of Justice included more than 35 thousand acts, of which 80% were included using the RPA robot. In terms of the number of municipal acts included in the register, Tatarstan ranks first in the Volga Federal District for the second year in a row.
Also, according to the minister, in the reporting period, an examination of more than 26 thousand municipal acts was carried out. As a result, 544 corruption-causing factors were identified, and the provisions of 128 municipal acts turned out to be contrary to the law. «To date, 482 corruption-generating factors have been eliminated, as well as all inconsistencies with the legislation in 128 municipal acts», - Rustem Ildusovich said.
In addition, the Ministry ensures the activities of the working group on studying the organization of work on offense prevention in municipalities under the Government Commission on Offense Prevention.
Eight municipal districts are covered annually. The results of the work are discussed with the participation of district leadership, heads of settlements, prevention entities and district prosecutors, and are also considered at meetings of the Government Commission.
In 2025, the working group is scheduled to visit Arsky, Aksubaevsky, Zainsky, Bugulminsky, Aktanyshsky, Aznakaevsky, Sabinsky, Baltasinsky districts.
