The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan approved a draft law on the development of creative or creative industries in Tatarstan
The draft law «On the development of creative (creative) Industries in the Republic of Tatarstan», developed in accordance with the federal legislation, was considered and approved by the members of the Expert Council of the Interdepartmental Coordination Committee on legal issues in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
As it was noted during the meeting, the bill is aimed at the development of creative economy and creation of conditions for self-realization of citizens on the basis of their creative and intellectual potential.
According to the document, a register of creative industries entities operating in Tatarstan will be kept in the republic, criteria for classifying individuals, companies and entrepreneurs as creative industries entities will be established, the procedure for confirming compliance with these criteria will be determined, and criteria for determining priority creative industries in the republic will be established.
The approved draft law is planned to be sent to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for consideration.
