The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the issues of application of the automated information system «Codex»
Since 2018, the automated information system «Codex» has been introduced in the rule-making activities of public authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan. The system automatically identifies contradictions and gaps in legal regulation.
The work is carried out thanks to the support of Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, and within the framework of the state program «Development of Justice in the Republic of Tatarstan».
The achieved results and further plans for the application of the system were discussed in the videoconference mode by representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan and the joint-stock company «Information Company «Codex». The meeting was held by Mukharryam Ibyatov, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event was attended by Natalia Khokhlova, Director of Information Products Creation Department of the joint-stock company «Information Company «Codex», and Alexander Starobinets, Head of the project «Regional Legislation Analyst» of the joint-stock company «Information Company «Codex».
«Today the republican register contains about 36 thousand normative legal acts of regional and 324 thousand of municipal levels. More than 3 thousand federal and republican acts come into force annually. It would be practically impossible to respond to all changes in legislation in a timely manner without the help of information technologies» - Mukharryam Ibyatov noted during the conversation.
