With the support of Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, a republican contest of experts in conducting independent anti-corruption expertise of normative legal acts and their drafts is organized in the republic every year.
In a live broadcast of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan, First Deputy Minister Ilya Gomzik told about who can take part in the contest.
«We accept applications from experts from October 1 to October 30, we consider the works, the competition committee awards points, and traditionally on the International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9 we announce the winners and hold an award ceremony», - said Ilya Alexandrovich.
The contest is open to individuals who:
- reside in the Republic of Tatarstan;
- have no tax and levy debts;
- are accredited by the Ministry of Justice of Russia as experts in independent anti-corruption expertise;
- and have submitted opinions on the results of independent anti-corruption expertise of regulatory acts of Tatarstan or municipal acts from September 1 of the previous year to August 31 of the current year.
The contest participants cannot be employees of public authorities, state bodies and local self-government bodies of municipalities in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the winners of the contest within two subsequent years.
To stimulate wider participation and increase competition among participants, the contest provides cash prizes. The winner is awarded the main prize of 200 thousand rubles and an incentive prize of 50 thousand rubles.
