The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan sent over 700 methodological materials to municipalities
The role of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan in raising the professional level of municipal servants was discussed today in the State Council of the Republic at the meeting of the State Council Committee on State Construction and Local Self-Government.
Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Mukharryam Ibyatov made a report on this topic. He said that the Ministry actively participates in the development and implementation of advanced training programs for municipal officials, held on the basis of the Higher School of State and Municipal Management of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.
«Over the past two years, our specialists have participated in conducting seven educational programs, within the framework of which more than 1400 employees of municipalities and subordinate institutions were trained», - said Mukharryam Mansurovich.
In addition, since 2022 the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan itself organizes and conducts various training events. For two years more than 134 such events have been held, of which 44 were held last year. Among them were seminars, workshops, video receptions of municipal employees and other forms of interaction. The plan of events is formed annually taking into account proposals from municipalities.
Also, the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan is engaged in methodological assistance and development of model acts for various spheres of activities of municipalities, such as funeral services, organization of municipal service, determination of powers of persons holding municipal positions, participation of the population in local self-government, as well as amendments to the charters of municipalities.
«During the above period, we sent over 700 methodological documents to local self-government bodies, among which are informational and explanatory letters, analytical briefs, recommendations, reviews of legislation. In 2024 alone, 214 such materials were sent», - the Deputy Minister emphasized.
The main purpose of the methodological assistance provided by the Ministry is to support municipalities in solving topical issues, especially those that cause the greatest interest and need.
