A resident of Kazan, planning a vacation, bought tickets for several flights and rail routes from various carriers. However, the trip was disrupted even before it started because the first flight was delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions.
As a result, the plaintiff applied to the court station № 8 in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan with a claim for damages for the remaining tickets, as they had lost their relevance. The injured party estimated the damage at more than 180 thousand rubles.
The justice of the peace considered the claims made to the airline unreasonable. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of justice of Tatarstan. «He found that the departure was delayed due to the fault of difficult weather conditions. The flight delay was a consequence of the carrier's compliance with the safety conditions of the aircraft flight in order to eliminate the risk of threat to the life and health of passengers», - the decision reads.
