Rustem Zagidullin: It is our duty to support the families of fighters defending the Motherland
Today the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin met with the families of the participants of the special military operation. During the meeting the Minister noted that the Ministry employs 19 employees whose close relatives are currently defending the Motherland in the zone of special military operation or lost their loved ones at the front.
The Minister reminded that within the framework of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, taking into account the importance of the challenges we face, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan declared 2025 the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. He also emphasized the words of Rais: «There is not a single day that we do not discuss this topic. The discussion is going on at the level of the whole republic - every municipality, every settlement, every enterprise is involved to a greater or lesser extent in the support program for the participants of the special military operation and their families».
Rustem Zagidullin added that the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, continues to actively provide legal support to fighters and their relatives. One of the frequent problems faced by the families of the participants of the special military operation is discrepancies in the spelling of surnames and names in various documents, which requires judicial confirmation of kinship. In addition, there are difficulties related to the registration of benefits and payments.
The Minister assured that employees can always count on the Ministry for assistance. «Ask for help or with suggestions at any time. It is important for all of us to maintain an open dialog. We will carefully consider each situation and are always ready to provide the necessary assistance», - he emphasized.
At the end of the meeting Rustem Zagidullin invited those present to the performance of the literary and musical theater «Replica», which was held in the framework of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. The guests also visited the Museum of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, the exposition of which is dedicated to the main milestones of the formation and development of justice in the Republic.
