A chess tournament among Tatarstan's civil servants was held in Kazan
Last weekend, a chess tournament was held in the large hall of the Republican Sports School of Olympic Reserve named after R.G. Nezhmetdinov, in which 19 teams from various ministries and departments of the Republic of Tatarstan took part.
The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan was represented by Bulat Khusainov, Lyudmila Yelina, Aidar Shakirov and Elena Gavrilenko.
Bulat Khusainov shared his impressions: «This is my second year participating in the tournament, and every time it is a valuable experience. Chess helps to develop strategic thinking and diligence, which is very useful both in personal and professional life».
The tournament was part of the Spartakiad of Civil Servants of the Republic of Tatarstan 2025, which began in february with ski races and will continue with meetings in various sports until the end of the year.
