Veterans Council of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan prepares for the Great Victory anniversary
The Veterans Council of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the plans of preparation for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The meeting was held under the guidance of the Chairman of the Veterans Council Mukharryam Ibyatov.
One of the key events will be the participation of employees of the Ministry and veterans in the traditional ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame in Victory Park on May 9. As Mukharryam Mansurovich emphasized, this ceremony is a symbol of deep respect for the memory of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of their homeland.
In connection with the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, announced by Rustam Minnikhanov of the Rais Republic of Tatarstan, and on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan plans to hold a number of events aimed at social support of veterans and combatants. In particular, a day of providing free legal assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, combatants and members of their families will be held in April.
Separately, Chairman of the Veterans Council Mukharryam Ibyatov emphasized the importance of transferring knowledge about the heroic past of the country to the younger generation. «Our task is to convey to the youth the understanding of the importance of preserving the memory of great events of the past, - he noted. - In this regard, we organize creative contests for children of employees of the Ministry and subordinate institutions». Thus, in April children's contests of drawings «They fought for the Motherland» and poems «We Swear to remember!». Now grandchildren of veterans will be able to take part in them as well.
In addition, Mukharryam Ibyatov said that according to a long-standing tradition, employees will visit the burial places of former leaders of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan who took part in the Great Patriotic War. «This is an annual act of gratitude to our veterans, when on the eve of Victory Day employees put monuments in order and lay flowers», - he explained.
Additionally, on the official website of the Ministry the project «War photos in the family album» was launched, which tells about the fate of relatives of the employees of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan, who participated in the battles on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.
