As part of a series of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Ministry of Justice held a reading contest «We swear to remember!» and a contest for the best drawing «They fought for the Motherland!».
The contestants read works about the tragic pages of the war, about those people who fearlessly defended the freedom of the Fatherland, showing fortitude and courage. Their voices sounded confident and sincere, filling the hearts of the jury with a sense of pride and respect for the military feat of their great-grandfathers and grandfathers. And the drawings of the children who took part depict important moments in the country's history: meetings of returning heroes, legendary T-34 tanks, majestic fireworks over Moscow, portraits of victorious marshals and much more, which symbolize the enduring value of Victory and the living legacy of the war years.
Ilya Gomzik, First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, solemnly presenting well-deserved awards to the participants of the contests, cordially congratulated the guys and expressed gratitude for their high creative dedication.
«We have received many wonderful works, each one deserves special attention», - he stressed. — The children managed to convey deep emotions, capturing the most vivid memories and key pages of our history. The poems about Victory especially touched my soul. The lines scorched by the war carry the whole truth about the events of our country's heroic period, the bitterness of loss and the heavy price of Victory. When children read these poems, you can't help but freeze, listening to every word.»
