Today the management and employees of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the festive event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which was held on the territory of the Justice Quarter.
Within the framework of the event the staff of the Ministry of Justice visited two thematic exhibitions – «We have won» and «Defense of the Sovereignty of the Russian State. History and Modernity».
The tour guide, welcoming the participants, emphasized the special significance of the war in the history of our country: «The Great Patriotic War was the heaviest tragedy, leaving an indelible mark in the fate of every citizen of the Soviet Union. Propaganda posters of those times played a key role, being an expressive means of propaganda, supporting the morale of the population, uniting the people and inspiring them to fight for a common goal - victory over the enemy».
The exhibition demonstrates how propaganda posters changed depending on the events at the front. A special emphasis is placed on the work of agitators in Tatarstan, familiarizing visitors with regional peculiarities of propaganda. For example, well-known All-Soviet posters such as «How did you help the front?» by Dmitry Orlov, «Don't talk!» by artists Nina Vatolina and Nikolai Denisov - are presented in regional versions in tatar language.
The second exhibition was devoted to the defense of Russian sovereignty. It presented historical documents and photographs demonstrating the attempts of foreign states to interfere in Russia's internal affairs throughout the centuries - from the Time of Troubles to the present day. The organizers noted that for the first time such a large-scale exposition allows to see the entire historical path of Russia's resistance against attempts to weaken its independence.
The event ended with a concert of the spiritual music ensemble «Revival», which performed the program «Beloved Lida. Letters from the front», filled with patriotic songs and memories of the frontline soldiers.
For many employees, the event provided an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the most important pages of the Fatherland's history. «Very informative exhibitions! They allow a deeper understanding of the history of our country. It was especially interesting to hear stories about propaganda art and to imagine ourselves in the atmosphere of the tense war years», - they shared.
