The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan informs about restriction of alcohol sales during KazanForum days
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan has published a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic, which establishes a ban on the retail sale of alcoholic beverages during the international economic forum «Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum», held from May 13 to 18, 2025.
The document stipulates that during this period in Kazan it is prohibited to sell alcohol in retail outlets located on Agrarnaya Street, Khadi Taktash Street, airport territory, Bolshaya Krasnaya Street, Bauman Street, Ostrovskogo Street, Universitetskaya Street, Chernyshevskogo Street, Dekabristov Street, Ibrahimov Avenue, Nikolai Ershov Street, Petersburg Street, Volkova Street, Abdulla Bichurin Street, Chistopolskaya Street, Burkhan Shahidi Street, Said-Galiev Street.
The exception is catering establishments.
