What threatens drivers for driving with fake license plates. The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan explains
In Tatarstan, employees of the State Automobile Inspectorate detained a motorist who used knowingly false registration marks on his vehicle. The decision to impose an administrative penalty was made by the justice of the peace of the peace of judicial district № 1 in Sabinsky district.
The driver was stopped while driving on the roadway. After inspection, it turned out that the registration of the state registration plates installed on the vehicle was officially terminated, as they had previously been issued to another vehicle, which was subsequently sold.
«The driver of the vehicle is obliged to check the compliance of the state registration marks before leaving the vehicle and on the way to ensure that the vehicle is in good technical condition. The evidence available in the case is admissible and sufficient to establish guilt in committing an administrative offense», - stated in the decision of the justice of the peace.
The owner of the car was found guilty of an offense under Part 4 of Article 12.2 of the CoAO RF (driving a vehicle in violation of the rules of installation of state registration marks on it) and was deprived of driving license for six months. The Tatarstan driver's license must be surrendered.
