For the 25th anniversary of the Tatarstan Justice of the Peace: the building of the courts in Mendeleyevsk was renovated
Today, a ceremonial visit to the renovated building of the justices of the peace courts took place in Mendeleyevsk. The building, built in 1968, was renovated to accommodate the courts. By decision of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, in honor of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Justice of the Peace of the republic, extraordinary funding in the amount of 43.5 million rubles was allocated from the budget of Tatarstan for the major repairs of the facility.
«I am very glad that you are now working in comfortable conditions, - the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Zagidullin addressed his colleagues. - Thanks to the caring attitude of the Rais of the Republic Rustam Nurgalievich, we have the opportunity to improve the conditions for the placement of courts, to create comfort for Tatarstan residents applying to the court», - he added.
According to the minister, the placement of justices of the peace in the Mendeleyevsky district had a difficult history. Until 2022, the courts were located in the building of the tax service, then they were temporarily transferred to the premises of the former technical school of petrochemistry and oil refining, built in 1939, which is not suitable for the administration of justice. Thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan and the support of the republic's leadership, the courts returned to a completely renovated building on Gagarin Street.
The renovation was carried out in the shortest possible time - in just 4 months. Now the building meets all modern requirements: individual offices for judges, spacious courtrooms, archive rooms, rooms for eating for employees, a guard room, and all conditions for people with limited mobility are equipped. The courts are equipped with cabinet and metal furniture, security and fire alarms, access control and video surveillance systems are installed.
Congratulating the justices of the peace and the staff of the apparatus on the completion of the major repairs, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Gilmutdinov wished: «Let correct, fair decisions be made within the walls of this renovated building, which will serve to strengthen the rule of law and order in the region».
The Head of the Judicial Department of the Republic of Tatarstan Zyavdat Salikhov in his speech emphasized the importance of creating decent conditions for the work of the judicial system. According to him, comfortable conditions are necessary not only for judges and the apparatus, but above all for high-quality service to citizens, which is the main task of the entire judicial system.
It is worth noting the high workload of the district justices of the peace: in the 12 months of 2024, 3,081 cases and materials were considered at judicial district № 1, and 3,333 at district № 2. Recently, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, congratulating justices of the peace, their staff, veterans and representatives of the judicial community on their anniversary, emphasized: «Justices of the peace of Tatarstan consider over 70% of all court cases in the republic. This is a colossal workload, which you cope with impeccably, demonstrating the highest professionalism, responsibility and loyalty to the principles of justice».
Justice of the peace of judicial district № 1 Yulia Sharifyanova emphasized the importance of creating a comfortable space for all participants in the trial. «The atmosphere of our building, the collective attitude of visitors to us, to the judicial system, to the justice of the peace, in particular, are really important. After all, it is the creation of a comfortable space that forms the first impression of our work. Here we feel confident and work productively, and visitors who come to us out of necessity are met with comfort and order, which helps reduce tension and make the interaction process less stressful», - she explained.
Among the honored guests who took part in the visit were also the head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Tatarstan Anvar Zakirov, the head of the Executive Committee of the Mendeleyevsky District Robert Iskandarov and others.
