As part of the All-Russian Day of legal assistance to children, traditionally celebrated on november 20, Tatarstan will host extensive educational and consultative activities. The main goal of these events is to improve the legal literacy of children, parents and professionals working with children.
Lectures, seminars and consultations will be held throughout the republic to explain children's rights, juvenile law issues, guardianship and adoption aspects and the specifics of parent-child relationships. Particular emphasis will be placed on anti-corruption education for the younger generation.
«Today, it is especially important to develop legal thinking and a sense of social responsibility in children and young people. It is important not only to acquire knowledge but also to learn how to apply it in practice—to protect one's rights, identify threats and seek help», - noted the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Traditionally, on this day, free legal assistance will be available to families raising children with disabilities, parents with many children, foster children and those seeking to foster or adopt a child left without parental care.
«Our goal is to ensure the wide availability of legal information for children and adolescents. Specialists will also provide the necessary support to parents and guardians, helping them navigate complex legal issues and draft the necessary documents», - the Tatarstan Ministry of justice added.
A unified national plan for events held as part of All-Russian Day of legal assistance to children has been published on the official website of the Tatarstan Ministry of justice. It should be noted that all events providing free legal assistance are in line with the goals and objectives of the state program «Development of justice in the Republic of Tatarstan».
