From July 6 to 12, the All-Russian Week of Legal Assistance on Issues of Protecting Family Interests was held in the republic. The results of the campaign were discussed by the Minister of Justice of Tatarstan, Rustem Zagidullin, at a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency.

The campaign was timed to coincide with the Day of Family, Love and Loyalty and is being held for the third time. «The main goals of the All-Russian Week of Legal Assistance are to promote the strengthening of traditional family values, ensure access to qualified legal aid, and support families in resolving legal issues», - noted Rustem Zagidullin.

Approximately 5,000 events were held in all municipal districts and urban okrugs of the republic: lectures, round tables, exhibitions, competitions, legally oriented trainings, and citizen receptions.

The minister separately focused on events providing legal assistance. According to him, 415 consultations were organized as part of the campaign, during which more than 4,400 people sought free legal aid. Families with children, participants of the special military operation and their family members, as well as large families, made up the majority of those who applied.

«Citizens were most often interested in social and legal issues - allowances, payments, pensions, and other forms of state support», - clarified Rustem Zagidullin.

170 points were organized for citizen receptions. Specialists prepared more than 1,200 legal documents, such as statements of claim and appeals to authorized bodies.

The Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan reminds citizens that free legal assistance can also be obtained through the Russian State Services portal. The online service simplifies access to free legal aid and reduces the risk of fraud. The development of digital tools is being carried out within the framework of the national project «Data Economy».
