Nearly 3500 people received free legal assistance in Tatarstan
In the first half of this year, 3423 residents of Tatarstan received qualified free legal assistance. These figures were presented by First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilya Gomzik.
According to him, people most often turn to the State Legal Bureau. «For example, in the first half of this year, just over 3400 people sought free legal assistance from participants in the state system, of whom 3124 applied to the Legal Bureau», - Ilya Gomzik reported.
The First Deputy Minister reminded that the law defines the categories of citizens eligible for free legal assistance and the matters on which they may seek help. These categories include, among others, participants in the special military operation and their family members.
«In the first half of the year, 2298 servicemen and their relatives sought assistance. They typically inquire about matters related to applying for entitled benefits and payments, as well as housing, social, and employment issues», clarified Ilya Alexandrovich.
