Tatarstan plans to establish the honorary title «Honored Bailiff of the Republic of Tatarstan»

The establishment of a new state award was discussed at a meeting of the working group of the Interdepartmental Coordination Committee on Legal Issues at the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan. The session was chaired by First Deputy Minister Ilya Gomzik.

«Introducing this title will help stimulate the professional activities of bailiffs, increase their motivation, and strengthen the prestige of the service and recognition of employees’ merits», - it was noted during the meeting.

It is envisaged that the title will be awarded to highly professional bailiffs for:

• outstanding merits in ensuring the established order of court operations, enforcement of judicial acts, as well as acts of other bodies and officials,
• training and mentoring of bailiff personnel.

«Adoption of the draft law will ensure due recognition of the employees’ work», -  it was emphasized at the session.

The draft law is currently under development.
