Over 1400 draft regulatory legal acts at the republican level underwent legal and anti-corruption review in the first half of 2026
One of the key tools for preventing corruption is the anti-corruption review of draft regulatory legal acts, conducted by the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan.
According to First Deputy Minister Ilya Gomzik, this process enables the early identification and elimination of corruption-generating factors at the stage of drafting and adoption of regulatory acts. This is particularly important for ensuring the transparency and legality of decisions made.
«In the first six months of this year, 1431 republican-level drafts underwent review, in which 4 corruption-generating factors were identified. By comparison, during the same period last year, 33 such factors were found in 1090 drafts», - Ilya Gomzik reported.
The First Deputy Minister explained that the most common corruption-generating factors include broad discretionary powers, absence or incompleteness of administrative procedures, and defining competence using the formula «has the right to».
«Activities in the field of anti-corruption review are aimed at preventing situations where officials could abuse their official position for personal gain. This ensures the legal integrity of regulatory legal acts and guarantees the protection of citizens’ rights», - Ilya Gomzik noted.
