On the meeting of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Y.Gluhova with the Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan

July 17, 2014 Minister of Justice L.Y.Gluhova participated in the meeting with the Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan. One of the issues discussed at the meeting was the aspect of harmonization regional legislation about local self-government with federal law. This question is relevant in connection with the adoption of federal laws from May 27, 2014 № 136 "On Amendments to Article 26.3 of the Federal Law "On general principles of organization of legislative (representative) and executive bodies of state power of subjects of the Russian Federation "and the Federal Law" on general principles of organization of local self-government in the Russian Federation" and Federal law from 23 June 2014 № 165 "On amending the Federal law "On General principles of Local self-Government in the Russian Federation", aimed at reforming local government in the Russian Federation.

The shape and direction of collective efforts by the government of Republic of Tatarstan and the local authorities on the preparation of appropriate legislation was discussed on the meeting, because the implementation of these federal laws causes the need for amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On Local Self-Government" and other laws of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of local self-government.
