Results of the All-Russia Day of providing free legal aid to the population in Tatarstan

September 26, 2014 the day of providing free legal assistance to citizens on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan took place under the project of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.

Tatarstan regional office of the Association of Lawyers of Russia jointly with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tatarstan branch of the party "United Russia" organized legal aid at 56 stations. "United Russia" working public reception, as well as Russian President's Reception in the Republic of Tatarstan and the regional public reception of the President of the party "United Russia", the centers of free legal aid to the population of Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia worked in each municipal area.

Reception of citizens was conducted through an open day. Organization and holding of the Day to provide free legal assistance in Tatarstan was lightened in the media.

The notaries, lawyers, prosecutors of the Republic of Tatarstan, the members of Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Office of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan, the members of the Association of Lawyers of Russia participated in the Free legal assistance day. Te experts of the Federal Bailiff Service of the Republic of Tatarstan for the first time provided free legal assistance in Almetyevsk, Yelabuga Bugul'ma, Zelenodol'sk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk.

First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan R.I.Zagidullin, Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan F.H.Zagidullin, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan and M.M.Ibyatov N.V.Ragozina, head of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan G.I. Sergeeva provided legal assistance to the people in the reception of the President of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan during the day. They provided legal assistance to 23 citizens.

515 people received legal assistance by the end of the reception in Tatarstan.

Public reception in Almetyevsk, Elabuga, Naberezhnye Chelny were the most visited, there legal assistance was requested to 49, 62 and 40 people respectively.

According to statistics the most active group of the population, applying for legal aid, were people of retirement age. The most common issues with which people go to lawyers, are traditionally hereditary, housing, social security, consumer protection, land and clarification of procedural rules.
