Meeting of the Council “Association of Lawyers of Russia” regional organisation

A meeting of the Council of Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia took place in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan on October 8, 2014.

The first item of the agenda was dedicated to the new lawprojects in the field of free legal assistance and legal awareness of the population. The Chairman of the Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia I.I.Girfanov made a report. During the discussion the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Y.Gluhova, president of the Bar Association of the Republic of Tatarstan L.M.Dmitrievskaya, Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan F.H.Zagidullin, head of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tatarstan A.L.Vasin, Deputy Vice-Rector ISGZ K.N.Ponomarev have made a proposals.

The second issue of the agenda was dedicated to the development of the "Lawyer of the Year" ceremony and to the review of the draft terms of the award "Lawyer of the Year". The regional award "Lawyer of the Year" was approved with the suggestions and comments received from members of the Council.

Council also decided to include new representatives of the legal community of the Tatarstan to the Association of Lawyers of Russia.
