Workshop of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on State Building and Local Self-Government

October 10, 2014 under the chairmanship of the Committee of the State Council on State Building and Local Self-Government A.G.Habibullina was held a workshop, were also took part the representatives of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, the representatives of the Legal Department of the State Council and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The issue of harmonization of federal legislation with the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On Local Self-Government in the Republic of Tatarstan" was discussed on the meeting.

Also the draft laws of the Republic of Tatarstan, developed pursuant to the requirements laid down in paragraph 3 of Article 85 of the Federal Law "On General Principles of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation", in order to clarify the description of the boundaries of municipalities and settlements within them were discussed at the meeting. These bills of 15 municipal districts of the republic will be considered at the next meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The First Deputy Minister, Acting Minister, R.I.Zagidullin, as well as Deputy Minister in charge of legal support of the local government of the Republic of Tatarstan M.M.Ibyatov participated in this event.
