Free legal assistance and legal lectures in Leninogorsky municipal district

October 16, 2014 free legal assistance was provided to the residents of Timyashevsky and Shugurovsky rural settlements in the Leninogorsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Also Law lessons were held to the high school students under the “Law School” project.

As part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan № 156 of 22.03.2010 “On measures to develop the legal aid system and legal education of the population in the Republic of Tatarstan” and the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan №73 of 02.11.2012 “On the provision of free legal aid citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan” The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the regional office of the Association of Lawyers of Russia continues to provide free legal assistance to people living in rural areas of the country.

Mobile information and advisory group of experts of the ministries, departments and organizations, in particular of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the reception of the President of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Land and property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation Office Rosreestra on RT, the Federal tax Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Bar Association of Chamber of Notaries of the Republic of Tatarstan was generated to provide people with legal assistance.

The legal assistance was provided to 67 residents of two rural settlements in the area, including 26 public sector workers, 24 citizens working in other areas, 8 citizens of retirement age and 9 of the unemployed.

Most of the questions that residents have applied for legal aid were refer to the competence of the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tajikistan (11 pers.). Were asked questions related to the land registration, the separation of land, the return of the share of the land.

8 person appealed to the experts of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan about obtaining various types of benefits, receiving the title of “Veteran of Labour”, subsidies for housing and communal services, the provision of social grants.

The representative of the Pension Fund of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan during the reception given advice on issues related to calculating the amount of, payment of insurance premiums
(11 pers.).

Specialist of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan were gave advice on the passing of the Unified State Examination, according to the standards of teaching Russian and Tatar languages (5 pers.).

An expert of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan answered questions about issuing a disability, supporting the people with disabilities. (7 pers.).

Specialists of the Tax Service advised citizens on the size of the property tax, employment benefits for the payment of property taxes and other taxes.

Lawyer and notary clarified to citizens the questions of land transferring from one category to another, registration of ownership of land, registration of inheritance, wills.

Heads of Zelenoroschinske and Michurinsky rural settlements applied for explaining the procedure of registration of orphan land to municipal ownership and order of registration of land plots for residential homes.

All villagers received qualified advice from the specialists.

Members of the Council of Young Lawyers gave following lectures in grades 9-11 in schools rural settlements Timyashevo and Shugurovo:

1) “Origin of the State”, the lecturer Baibikov Ruslan.
2) “The political system of the Russian Federation”, the lecturer Irina Kirillova.
3) “Federal Law “On Protection of Consumers Rights”, lecturers Gubaidullina Azalya and Gulina Garrapova.

An appearence of students in rural areas Timyashevo andShugurovo was 60 and 40 people respectively. Students listened material with interest and actively asked questions.
