Videoconference with citizens on the issues of migration law

Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan for the purpose of providing legal assistance held a reception of citizens living in rural areas of the country in the regime of videoconference on December 25, 2014. This videoconference was dedicated on migration law. 20 people from 13 municipal districts participated in the videoconference.

The Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan M.M.Ibyatov, with the chief of department of legal consulting and methodological support of local authorities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan M.A.Pashkova chaired the meeting. Acting Deputy Head of the State Labour Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan I.M.Sergeyev, head of the migration of citizens of the Federal Migration Service of the Republic of Tatarstan A.N.Markov, Deputy Head of Citizenship and temporary residence permits of the Federal Migration Service of the Republic of Tatarstan Y.N.Baskov, head of the department of labor migration and interaction with employers of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan A.F. Ayupov, Senior Consultant on the restoration of the rights of citizens of the Commissioner of Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan K.A.Karpukhin.

The explanations about the employment of foreign nationals; procedures for obtaining citizenship of the Russian Federation; registration of citizens in holiday homes; employment and social protection of citizens who arrived in the Republic of Tatarstan from the territory of Ukraine were given during the reception.

In addition, two issues related to the stay of foreign citizens in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kukmorsky and Tukaevsky municipalities were announced. In view of the prevailing circumstances of life these people have the problems with getting Russian citizenship, employment, benefits and pensions. Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan M.M. Ibyatov proposed to the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Office of the Federal Migration Service of the Republic of Tatarstan to take these issues under special control.
