X conference of judges of the Republic of Tatarstan

The 20th of February, in 2015 there was X conference of judges of the Republic of Tatarstan, where the minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Yu.Gluhova made a speech.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan I.I.Gilazov, deputies of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan M.M.Hayrullin, R.A.Sharifullin, M.V.Belyaev, R. F.Gafarov, the Head of the Judicial Department of the Republic of Tatarstan Z.M.Salihov, court presidents, federal and magistrates took part in the event.
During the conference were discussed issues of improving the efficiency of the courts, the level of confidence to judicial authority, organization of human resources and also were made conclusions about work of the courts in 2014.
R.N. Minnikhanov noted that problems posed by the government in front of the judiciary dictates new requirements for personnel policy "Principle of selection of candidates for the position of judges must be such that it is necessary to select not only appropriate, but the most worthy. It is important to deal with the lack of professionalism, bias, corruption, violation of ethical standards. All these things undermine public confidence in the judiciary. "
Speech of Larisa Yurievna was devoted to improving conditions for the allocation of magistrates’ magistracies, raising technical strength and stability of the anti-terrorism, the development of information and communication technologies, strengthening logistics of magistrates’ magistracies and also raising the professional level of magistrates and their staff.
The conference was held the ceremony of judges awards and also honoring the winners of the republican competition I "Judge of the Year" and VII of creative competition among journalists for the best coverage of the judicial system "Themis of the year."
