Celebration of Sabantuy-2015 in Astana city

On 27th of June, 2015 the Minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Yu.Gluhova took part in the ceremony on the occasion of the national holiday of Tatar Sabantuy 2015 in the Republic of Kazakhstan Astana city, which appealed to the participants and guests of the festival with a welcoming speech on behalf of the acting president of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N.Minnikhanov.

In his welcoming remark, in particular,were such words:

"In a rapidly changing pace of life and belief system Sabantuy promotes spiritual continuity of generations. The holiday, which marks the end of spring field work is a vivid example of preservation of national traditions and distinctive symbol of the unity of the Tatars in the world."

This year's festival "Sabantuy-2015" timed to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan people's Assembly and the celebration of the City Day.

Among the invited guests - Extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan M.N.Bocharnikov, a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Assembly of peoples of Kazakhstan Z.A.Sayapova, the Head of the secretariat of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan (Astana city) L.S.Kusainova, representatives of public organizations of the region and visitors.

On the celebrating area are organized festive traditional national competitions, contests, games, performances and creative teams of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tatarstan, and also an exhibition - sale of the Tatar and Bashkir national dishes.
