At the meeting of the Comission on coordination of anti-corruption

On 10th of November, 2015 the Minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Yu.Gluhova took part in the meeting of the Comission on coordination of anti-corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan, which was held at the Kazan Kremlin.

The President of Tatarstan R.N.Minnikhanov signed a decree according to which the Council under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan anti-corruption converted to the Commission on coordination on anti-corruption work in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Commission will address questions of conflict of interests in respect of persons, holding public positions of the republic. It has changed the very concept of a conflict of interest. Restrictions on self-interest have become tougher. It is installed even in cases where the benefits are not only officials, but also those who are with them is closely related. Besides, enhanced responsibility for violations, including dismissal from the loss of confidence.

At the meeting took part the Commission's State Councillor of the Republic of Tatarstan M.Sh.Shaimiev, Prime-minister of the Republic of Tatarstan I.Sh.khalikov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan F.H.Muhametshin. The event was held in an expanded format with the participation of heads of ministries and departments, civil society and religious faiths.

At the meeting discussed the following issues:

on the suppression and prevention of crimes in the development of mineral resources and land use of forest areas and areas where there are water bodies;

on minimization the risk of corruption and improve efficiency in the delivery of public services in electronic form;

on the education bureau and the approval of the regulations of the Commission on the coordination of anti-corruption in the Republic of Tatarstan.
