Roundtable, dedicated to the International day against corruption

On 7th of December, 2015 first deputy minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan R.I.Zagidullin took part in the round table, dedicated to the International day against corruption, "Fighting corruption: legal security and anti-corruption standards of conduct."

The event was held at the Department of the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan under the leadership of head of Department V.N.Demidov.

At the meeting took part Head of the Federal bailiff service of the Republic of Tatarstan R.M.Ilyasov, deputy Chairman of the Constitutional court of the Republic of Tatarstan R.A.Sahieva, deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan on administrative affairs R.F.Gafarov, prosecutor of Supervision over the implementation of legislation on combating M.T.Shrsha, president of the chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Tatarstan L.M.Dmitrievskaya, president of the chamber of Notaries of the Republic of Tatarstan O.I.Grishina and other.

At a roundtable discussed questions relating to legal frameworks and law enforcement aspects of anti-corruption in the provision of public services to individuals and legal entities, the role of legal aid in the formation of tolerance for corrupt behavior, the implementation of the codes of ethics of lawyers and notaries in the disciplinary practices.

During his speech R.I.Zagidullin informed the participants about the main results of the anti-corruption expertise of draft regulations in the country.

So, for 9 months of 2015 the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted 767 anti-corruption expertise of draft regulations, of which 603 project decisions Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, 42 draft decrees of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, 122 draft laws of the Republic of Tatarstan. In acts of 38 projects, most of which are draft regulations of Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, developed republican ministries and departments, identified corruption-factors.

During the anti-corruption expertise often identified corruption-factors such as the latitude of discretion and the legal-linguistic uncertainty.
