Training seminar for officials of local governments

On 16th of March, 2016 by the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan was held a seminar in the mode of videoconference on "Notarial actions by local authorities."

The seminar was organized for the officials of the local self-government, authorized to perform notarial actions.

During the seminar, presentations were made by the chairman of the judicial board on civil cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan L.A.Valishin, head expert of the department for control and supervision of lawyers, notaries, state registration of the Russian Federation, acts of civil status of the Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M. Zemlyanskaya, senior methodologist of the Chamber of notaries of the Republic of Tatarstan L.A.Kamalova, head of legal consulting and methodological support to local authorities M.A.Pashkova.

At the seminar took part deputy head of the legal Council of management of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan D.D.Halilova.

The seminar reviewed the legislation on notaries, the issues of the notarial activity of local governments, and also the judicial practice in cases involving the commission of notarial acts by local governments.

In conclusion, the deputy minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan M.M.Ibyatov summing up the seminar, emphasized officials of local self-government bodies, authorized to perform notarial acts, on strict compliance with legislation in the sphere of notaries and regular familiarization with the information they need in practice, placed on website of the Federal chamber of notaries and the Notary chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan.
