St. Petersburg International Legal Forum

At the period from 18th to 21st of May 2016 the minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan L.Yu.Gluhova took part in the work of VI St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.

At the work of Forum annually participate senior officials of Russia and foreign countries, the world's leading experts in economics, law and international relations, heads of legal departments of large international companies, representatives of the international legal community.

The Forum program in 2016 included the plenary session "The trust to the law - a way to solve global crises", presentations, giving awards, conferences, and more than fifty discussion sessions.

Key themes of the Forum:

improvement of the interaction of legal systems and develop common approaches to solving the problems of the development of law in the context of globalization;

modernization of Russian law, taking into account best practices of foreign rule-making and enforcement, to bring Russian legislation in line with international standards to protect the rights and interests of all subjects of legal relations (including employers, foreign investors, copyright holders and others.);

promotion to the development of modern legal science and legal education in Russia and in the world.
