Sabantui in Tetyushsky region

On 5th of June, 2016 the first deputy minister of justice of the Republic of Tatarstan R.I. Zagidullin and meputy Minister M.M.Ibyatov took part in the traditional celebration of the national holiday Sabantui in Tetyushsky municipal region.

Sabantuy embodies the ideals of peace and kindness, combines age-old traditions, the generosity of the native land and nature at the time of its renewal and prosperity. Passing through the centuries, until today it has kept its main point – the unity all the inhabitants of the republic, regardless of nationality, age, profession.

Congratulating the residents of the Tetyushsky region with the celebration, Rustem Ildusovich read a greeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N.Minnikhanov.

From early morning the festival guests were welcomed by representatives of the Tatar, Russian, Chuvash and Mordovian farmsteads, showing off their costumes, cuisine, rituals, customs, traditions, and also the fair - sale of masters - craftsmen.

Besides, guests of the festival could manifest itself in the race with a yoke, running in sacks, running with an egg in a spoon, tug of war, pole climbing, walking on a log, fight in bags, and other competitions.
