New in the legislation
On July 16, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan of July 16, 2021 came into force No. 49-ZRT "On Amendments to the Environmental Code of the Republic of Tatarstan" (hereinafter – Law No. 49-ZRT), with the exception of provisions that come into force on August 1, 2021.
In accordance with the amendments, the storage and use of pesticides and agrochemicals is prohibited in water protection zones.
Article 123 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Tatarstan, which regulates the issues of state accounting and the state cadastre of wildlife objects, has become invalid.
Article 125 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Tatarstan on restrictions on the use of wildlife is set out in a new version.
Amendments have been made to the provisions regulating the issues of state monitoring of hunting resources and their habitat, maintaining the state hunting register on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
